Farm Equipment Operator

We are looking for an individual that has experience operating Farm Equipment, the family farm has various types of Farm Equipment some equipped with GPS & Precision Technology.

Are you have are currently working for a Retail Fertilizer Company or have operated a Sprayer/Fertilizer Spreader and looking for fewer seasonal hours with a flex schedule during the winter?

CDL is not required, but will need to be obtained after starting full time. Cost of CDL is covered by employer. Employer will also cover cost of any Agricultural Certifications the Farm Equipment Operator may desire to help increase their pay (CCA, Pesticide License, HAZMAT).

The Farm does store grain facility on farm. No long grain lines to wait in.

Sign on bonus paid after 6 months on job & $1000 per month paid towards medical. Farm also offers employer match for retirement. Opportunity to hunt timber ground and several areas throughout the farm during offseason.

Seasonal Workload: (2500 hour average per year including paid vacation & holidays)

Winter Months :

Full Time Pay with Flex Schedule, Opportunity to gain Certifications and continued educational.
Equipment Inspected by John Deere Dealership, Major Repairs completed by Dealership. Minor repairs in house
Clean, Lubricating, and Prepping for Spring Use

Spring Months:

Assisting with Field work, & Planting
Operating Sprayer for Pre- Plant and Post Application

Summer Months:

Final Sprayer Application Passes
Harvest Equipment Prep
Farm Lot Mowing & Light Farm work

Fall Months:

Harvest Operations
Clean Equipment and Park for Winter

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
