We’re Hiring: Junior Estimator – Commercial HVAC & Plumbing (DFW)

$65K–$75K + Bonus | Full-Time | Confidential Employer

Are you an up-and-coming estimator who’s not afraid to get out from behind the desk and talk to people?

We’re a well-established and growing mechanical contractor in the Dallas–Fort Worth area looking for someone who knows commercial HVAC & plumbing estimating and understands that strong relationships win projects.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare accurate estimates for commercial HVAC & plumbing projects ($500K–$10M)
• Perform detailed take-offs and analyze labor, material, and subcontractor costs
• Communicate with vendors and subcontractors for pricing
• Proactively connect with general contractors, build trust, and create new opportunities
• Follow our proven outreach structure — we’ll provide sales training if needed
• Collaborate with senior estimators and project managers for a smooth handoff

💰 $65K–$75K base + performance bonus

What We’re Looking For

• 2–3 years’ experience in commercial HVAC or plumbing estimating (DFW market preferred)
• Ability to read plans/specs and use estimating tools like Bluebeam, Stack, Procore, or similar
• Strong math, organization, and communication skills
• Willingness to get in front of people, have conversations, and think like a salesperson
• High school diploma or GED (trade school or construction management coursework a plus)
