Job Description
Under the guidance of the Production Supervisor, the Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining machines used in the assembly of electronic components. The Operator will work closely with the engineering team to ensure that all products meet quality standards and are delivered on time. Responsibilities: Requirements: Operate and monitor machines to ensure accurate and efficient assembly of electronic components.
- Work with work instructions to guide their work and the assemblies through the manufacturing process.
- Conducting safety and compliance meetings.
- Understand and effectively use materials provided by process engineering to perform the job and make sure that all equipment is running properly and safely daily.
- Immediately notify the supervisor if any equipment is malfunctioning.
- Perform all required preventative maintenance for machine operation and document per Good Documentation Practices Procedure" on the proper logs.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Perform proficiently at a quality standard set by the company's mission and commitment
- Keep accurate records of production data and any maintenance or repair work performed on equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of an associate degree will be preferred, ora High School Diploma or GED and be able to take all appropriate training classes required in lieu of a degree.
- 1 to 3 years' experience in electronics assembly.
- B-Shift differential 5%; C-Shift differential 10%
