Job Description

Our client is a Fortune 500 Medical Devices company seeking a Proofreader for a hybrid, 1-year contract opportunity.

Proofreader

Location: Mounds View, MN (3-4 days onsite; 1-2 days remote)

Duration: 1-year contract

Pay rate: $27-$29/hr

Job Purpose

Maintain high quality marketing communication materials by proofing for typos, content consistency, and style guide adherence, and performing light copyediting as needed.

Job Responsibilities

Proofread:

• Proof marketing communications documents.
• Make sure all communications are free of typos and grammatical errors and follow style guide for trademark and reference style recommendations.

• Responsible for chargeback goals equal to 85% of total yearly working hours.
• Responsible as a team member for the overall profitability of the team, including mistakes, rework, or other errors that are charged back to the department and affect the bottom line.

Job Requirements

Education/Experience:

• Minimum 4-year degree in communications.
• 3 to 4 years experience proofreading or editing.
