One of Massachusetts’s largest and most respected contractors is seeking a Safety Manager to join their team in the Greater Springfield area. This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping and implementing safety practices on high-profile projects while working with a company consistently recognized as a top place to work.

What You’ll Do

• Lead site safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments, inspections, and safety audits across active project sites.
• Develop and deliver safety training for staff, subcontractors, and trade partners.
• Collaborate with project teams to proactively identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Investigate incidents, document findings, and implement corrective actions.
• Partner with leadership to drive a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain safety records, prepare reports, and track performance metrics.

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of safety management experience in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety practices.
• Experience delivering training and promoting safety culture on large projects.
• Ability to build strong relationships with field staff, subcontractors, and leadership.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• CHST, CSP, or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
