SIS has an immediate opportunity for a Sr. Systems Engineer to support the Air Force at Wright-Patterson AFB in the Dayton, OH., area.

Job Summary:

• Install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system.
• Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and may perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.
• May monitor and test Web site performance to ensure Web sites operate correctly and without interruption.
• May assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.
• May supervise computer user support specialists and computer network support specialists.
• May administer network security measures.
• Primary PWCS Manager (Personal Wireless Communication Service)
• Primary ITAM Property Custodian
• Primary USLM (Software License Manager)

Primary Duties / Requirements:

• Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.
• Plans and leads major technology assignments.
• Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
• Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments and may supervise others.
• Supports Supercomputing Center Operations, IT Facility Management & Control, IT Systems Administration, Transporting HPC & IT HW, Data Center Classified Vault Operations, and Security clearances for S&T OPS tasks.

Required Experience:

• 5+ years of similar experience.
• MUST have an Active/Current TS/SCI or TS w/SCI eligibility Security Clearance.
• MUST have an Active/Current IAT II or higher certification.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
