Job Description

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) has an opportunity for an Ultrasound Technologist at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. Harlem Hospital is a designated Level 1 Trauma Center and is recognized for providing centers of excellence in the areas of Bariatric Surgery, Breast Imaging and Sexual Assault Forensics. Our teams provide services for nearly 213,000 outpatient visits, more than 83,000 emergency room visits and over 13,000 inpatient admissions annually.

Schedule would be 10am to 6pm to include 1 to 2 weekends a month.

Opportunity Details:

  • Assists in the orientation of new hires, training of ultrasound students and training/supervision of students rotating from the School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Performs portable ultrasound exams on rotating basis.
  • Will be required to rotate through all tours inclusive of weekends.
  • Participates in Performance Improvement activities.

Qualifications:

  • ARDMS certification in Ultrasonography required.
  • Associate Degree.
  • Satisfactory completion of a course in Diagnostic Ultrasound in an AMA approved school.
  • Proven Clinical competency in Abdominal, OB/GYN, Neonatal, and Vascular Ultrasound.
  • Responsible to maintain 30 CME credits within a 3-year rolling period for recertification annually.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary - $69,069*
  • This is an 1199 union position. Benefits will come from the union.
