As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the Food Bank's mission by ensuring the smooth receiving, storage, and distribution of food products. This position includes packing orders, unloading deliveries, re-packing food products, operating warehouse equipment safely, and general maintenance and clean-up . It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys teamwork, problem-solving, and making a direct impact on the communities we serve.

Required Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months warehouse or distribution experience , including order selection duties.
• At least 6 months' experience safely operating motorized equipment , including forklifts, pallet jacks, and stand-up riders.
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally in a safe and proper manner .
• Strong customer service and communication skills , with the ability to interact professionally with volunteers, staff, and community partners.
• Ability to work cooperatively with volunteers and staff, pay close attention to detail, and work independently.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new data applications.
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record

Benefits & Work Schedule:

• Full-time on-site position with excellent benefits, generous PTO , and eligibility for 12 paid holidays
• Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm.
